The inaugural Fitness and Wellness Summit has been announced for the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on July 16 and 17.
The event is being organised by sisters Laura Kinsella and Hayley Hester.
The B2B summit is aimed at people working in the fitness and wellness industry including gym operators, personal trainers, injury therapists, nutritionists, mental health and wellness professionals.
According to Hester: “After years in the events industry, I took a career break to follow my passion – fitness and nutrition. I am now a personal trainer based in Wicklow and I’m really keen to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
“I realised there was no event in Ireland aimed specifically at those working in the fitness and wellbeing industry, so Laura and I joined forces to address that.
“The fitness and wellness industry is a fast-paced sector, and as a business owner it can be difficult to keep up with the latest trends and innovations, as well as manage and grow your own business.
“Fitness and Wellness Summit won’t just provide a valuable networking opportunity for industry professionals. It will also share insights into best international practice, which will help to improve the standard of service delivery in Ireland for consumers.”
Fitness and Wellness Summit is supported by professional and public sector partners including REPs Ireland (Register of Exercise Professionals), the HSE, Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, Dublin City Council, Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland and Yoga Therapy Ireland.
