Vitalograph, the respiratory diagnostic devices developer and manufacturer, has announced plans to expand its operations in the mid-west of Ireland and add 200 jobs over the next two years.
The Buckingham-headquartered company will open new sites at the Engine Innovate Building in Limerick and Clare Technology Park in Ennis to create a global manufacturing hub and support the new roles, which will assist in the growth of its clinical trials and healthcare business.
The firm also plans to invest in its existing manufacturing plant in the Co Clare town as its relocate production of consumable products from Asia to Ireland to achieve efficiencies of scale, increase the stability of its supply line and reduce its carbon footprint.
Recruitment for the new roles at all levels across data analysis, site support services, software engineering, quality assurance and IT is underway. The investment is supported by Enterprise Ireland.

Vitalograph has had a R&D, engineering and manufacturing facility in Ennis since 1974. Its products are exported to 110 countries worldwide.
