BT Ireland has appointed Paul Byrne as its new business sales director with responsibility for leading its sales, marketing and contract management teams.
Byrne has worked in the international communications and technology sector for the past t30 years and previously served as BT Ireland's head of wholesale and partner channel, having joined the company in 2013.
Commenting on the appointment, Shay Walsh, managing director of BT Ireland, said “Paul brings substantial commercial sales and operations experience to the role of business sales director.
"Paul will play a pivotal role in driving BT Ireland’s growth strategy and together with his team support our valued customers with their global communications needs.”

Bryne holds an engineering degree from Dublin Institute of Technology, now Technical University Dublin (TU Dublin).
UK telecommunications leader BT operates in 180 countries, and recorded revenues of £20.9bn and profit before tax of £2bn in 2021.
