Northern Irish cloud technology company 3EN has signed a deal with workplace provider Regus for office space in London as it targets further expansion in the UK.

3EN's newly opened office in Holborn will enhance the company's hybrid working offering for employees working remotely in the south-east of England, providing a space for staff to work outside of their homes and boost in-person collaboration.

3EN aims to capitalise on office occupancy, which has risen by a third this year to date, according to Regus owner IWG.

The firm's contract with Regus will allow it to utilise meeting rooms in Regus office spaces in the UK and across the world, with 3EN having hosted meetings with employees globally in England, Ireland, Scotland and Germany.

3EN will also provide office space for employees in Bonn, Germany through its deal with Regus while continuing to operate from its head office in Holywood, Northern Ireland.

"Our new London hub will provide a space for remote team members to come together for collaboration, community, or simply peace and quiet outside of the home.

"Hybrid working has many benefits and we want to make sure that our entire team is supported with the infrastructure to do their best work so that we can continue the trajectory of making 2022 our best year in business yet.”

The announcement comes after 3EN reported its highest six-month revenue since it began trading in 2011, and the company is currently hiring people across client services, software engineering and project management from across the UK.

Abridged accounts for 2020 show 3EN employed 34 people, up from 18 the previous year, but the value of its profit and loss account was reduced from £203,000 to -£32,000 after the company took on debt of approximately £240,000.

3EN has claimed sales revenues of £2.7m for 2021 and added another 12 staff, bringing its workforce to nearly 60, and the company has said it is on course for a third consecutive year of 30% growth.
