Irish plant-based cookie dough company Naked Bakes has invested in a new brand identity as it launches at the trendy Raye the Store pop-up on London's Regent Street in September and October.

Naked Bakes was founded by 26-year-old baking entrepreneur Aisling Tuck during lockdown last year in response to the growing tend for home baking and an increased demand for cookies from sister business Oh Happy Treats.

The company has experienced a 25% uptick in sales after securing listings in stores nationwide, including a number of SuperValu and Centra outlets.

Naked Bakes products features at Raye to Store from 15 September to 27 October, alongside a range of curated brands from around the world, and the firm's new brands features bold colours and highlights its natural, pared-back ingredients.

The pop-up represents a golden opportunity for the Irish start-up to reach new audiences and connect with investors and buyers, according to Naked Bakes.

Speaking about the rebrand, Tuck said: “I launched Naked Bakes in such a short space of time that I created our original brand design myself on [free online graphic design tool] Canva.

"I’m incredibly proud to take Naked Bakes Cookie Dough to the next level with this fresh new look that I feel better represents what we’re about; we’re all-natural, but we’re anything but bland. Competition for shelf space and consumer attention is stronger than ever.

"Our new packaging is more likely to make people stop and take notice.”

On being part of the Raye pop-up, Tuck added that Naked Bakes couldn't turn down the "incredible opportunity" to connect with customers and industry insiders and that retailing on Regent Street was "a landmark moment for the business."

Naked Bakes cookie dough is made with sustainable, Irish ingredients, and Tuck said the brand fills a gap in the market for "indulgent yet natural plant-based products."
