One place to start is reviewing the 35 companies that have been accepted into Tech Nation’s Upscale growth programme for the UK’s fastest-growing mid-stage tech companies.
The ventures collectively employ over 1,400 people and have raised c.£250m in venture capital investment.
Tech Nation says that the UK’s mid-stage scaling tech companies (at Series A) have raised €5.1bn in 2022 so far, compared with €5.6bn in the whole of 2021.
The top three fastest scaling sectors for UK mid-stage companies are fintech, healthtech and energy tech.
The UK ventures listed below have attracted median investment of £5.2m and average headcount across the firms is 40 people.
