Crowley Millar and JR Sweeney announce merger

Crowley Millar Solicitors and JR Sweeney are merging their law firms, with the enlarged practice consisting of  10 partners, 20 solicitors and a total staff of 48 people.

The merged firm will practice under the style of Crowley Millar Solicitors LLP (Incorporating J R Sweeney LLP), with offices in Dublin and Limerick.

Established in 1989, Crowley Millar is a full-service law firm based in the IFSC in Dublin with a regional office in Limerick.

JR Sweeney was founded by Joe Sweeney in 2012 and was subsequently joined by and developed with Eileen Kelly and Bryan Sweeney. The boutique practice has a focus on advising owner managed businesses in commercial matters, corporate transactions and in relation to private client and property matters.

Joseph R. Sweeney will become the chairman of the merged firm and Eileen Kelly and Bryan C. Sweeney will become partners in the expanded firm.
