KPMG establishes a standalone law firm for Irish market with 60 lawyers

KPMG has established a legal practice, KPMG Law, in Dublin to provide legal services to the Irish market.

John Given will lead KPMG Law as managing director, and the firm has plans to grow its headcount from 60 legal professionals at present to 160 over the next two to three years.

KPMG Law will offer legal services across areas including financial services regulation, data and privacy, tech, intellectual property, energy and legal managed services that it said are complementary to KPMG’s existing offering, and with other services to follow

KPMG said the standalone law firm, which will operate from Stokes Place in Dublin 2, would become part of its multi-jurisdictional legal offering, which employs 3,200 legal professionals in 84 countries.
