Virgin Media Business has published a free eBook to download called Achieving Business Growth with Facebook Ads: Irish SME Case Studies.
“It’s not your typical social media guide,” said Elaine Rickard, B2B Marketing Manager. “We recently carried out a survey of owners and managers in Irish SMEs. One topic we touched on was social media.
“The survey found that 62% of Irish SMEs are using social media for their business. However, of those 40% reported that they felt they achieve zero business growth as a result of their efforts. Clearly, businesses recognise the social media opportunity but transforming that into real business results is proving a challenge.”
Rickard added that Virgin Media has worked closely with three SMEs who are achieving outstanding business results through social media, specifically through Facebook advertising.
She explained: “The case studies show how Irish SMEs are achieving specific business objectives today including attracting enquiries, lead generation, achieving customer advocacy and increasing sales revenue.
“In the book we identify the campaign foundations that underpin their success and isolate the most essential components of the Facebook advertising platform. It is the strategic combination of these campaign foundations and Facebook features that can enable micro and small firms to achieve their business goals.”
