Ryanair wants to fly you to your destination, sort out transport for you when you get there and now tuck you into bed at night, as the low-fares airline announced its new ‘Ryanair Rooms’ accommodation service.

The service will officially launch on October 1 this year and Ryanair said that it is currently inviting interested accommodation providers to submit partner proposals.

Ryanair Rooms will offer low-priced accommodation across a range of hostels, hotels, B&Bs, holiday homes and homestay options, as well as other ‘room’ offers. Up to now, Ryanair partnered only with hotel booking firms to offer discounted room price deals.

This latest customer initiative follows the launch of Ryanair Car Hire last August. Speaking about Ryanair Rooms, Ryanair’s chief marketing officer, Kenny Jacobs (pictured), said: “More and more customers are looking to Ryanair for products other than flights, and we see this as a natural progression towards Ryanair.com becoming the Amazon of air travel.

“It also echoes the change in demand from customers for different types of accommodation, which in turn will be reflected by the varied range Ryanair Rooms will offer – from five-star hotel rooms to independent homestay.

“We look forward to receiving proposals from interested partners who want to help us disrupt the travel industry once more.”
