dmg media received a total of 4 nominations for this year's Media Awards, including being shortlisted for the Sales Team of the Year award.

There are a total of 25 categories, with the presentation due to take place on May 8th at a ceremony at the Mansion House.

dmg media has been shortlisted in the categories for Media Campaign Large, Best Use of Irish Language, Media Brand of the Year and Sales Team of the Year.

The company's 'Driving consideration and quality leads through first in-market targeting', alongside AIB, will see them up against Starcom, EssenceMediacom, Dentsu, Spark Foundry and OMD for the Media Campaign Large award.

For Best Use of Irish Language, ExtraG, the Irish language version of Extra.ie, has been nominated and will be up against Mindshare, PHD, Zenith and Ardmore for the honour.

This year EVOKE, dmg media's female website, is vying for the Media Brand of the Year, having previously won the prize in 2018, and will go up against Tesco Media and Virgin Media Television.

The sales team at dmg media, headed up by Karl Byrne, is also in the running for a top prize on the night, and will face competition from Mediacentral, Mediahuis, PML Group, Sky Media and Virgin Media Television Commercial Team.

Last year, dmg media took home Gold at the awards, alongside Starcom, for the Bulmers Sounds from the Secret Orchard podcast and video series in the Collaboration between Agency and Media Owner (Large) category.
