CRM specialist iSite has been acquired by Ergo for an undisclosed sum as Ergo seeks to consolidate its position in IT services. The buy will grow Ergo’s turnover by 30% in the next year and increase employee numbers from 200 to 330. A new spin-off firm, Ergo Resourcing, will be headed up Dave Muldoon, one of the iSite vendors.

Ergo is a leading player for Office 365 installs, and claims around 60% of the seats sold in Ireland. Due this year from Microsoft is a new release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which is expected to become a significant addition to Office 365. Customers of iSite’s Dynamics CRM practice include Independent News & Media, BWG Foods, Londis, Fáilte Ireland, and Tourism Ireland.
iSite Web Technologies Ltd started trading in 2001 and booked a net profit of €190,000 in the year to October 2014. Net worth at year-end was €1.3m, with debtors more than doubling to €3.3m and year-end creditors amounting to €2.4m. Dave Muldoon and Phillip Ryan each owned 33.5% of the equity. Padraic Muldoon owned 26% and Diarmaid Flynn 7%. iSite was advised by law firm Flynn O’Driscoll.
