Luas is rolling in behind Dublin Fashion Festival with a GlamTram on Friday September 11 at lunchtime in St. Stephen’s Green.
On a stationary Luas, people will be able to avail of free mini makeovers courtesy of Boots No.7 and Tony and Guy along with canapés and mocktails thanks to Mao and TGI Fridays.
A Style Spotter competition will have prizes of One4All vouchers and €50 Leap Cards.
Cara Moloney of Transport Infrastructure Ireland said: “Luas is delighted to support this year’s Dublin Fashion Festival, Ireland’s biggest fashion event which brings many visitors into the city.”
Organised by DublinTown, the Dublin Fashion Festival takes place from September 7 to 13 with over 250 retailers, restaurants, bars and hotels taking part. The festival features daily catwalk shows, workshops, makeup classes and the Young Designer of the Year and the Canon Young Fashion Photographer of the Year competitions.

Dublin retailers including Brown Thomas, Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, Arnotts, H&M, Penneys and the Ilac Shopping Centre will host street fashion shows during the festival.
