Leman Appoints John Hogan As Managing Partner

Leman Solicitors has appointed John Hogan as Managing Partner of the firm, with incumbent Larry Fenelon becoming Head of Litigation.

The law firm has also announced that Andrew Nagle has joined as Partner in the Real Estate team. Nagle was formerly a senior associate with Maples and Calder.

Leman has also appointed David Pierce as  Chairman and fintech consultant Simon Deane-Johns is joining from the UK to head up the firm’s Brexit offering, while Bláthnaid Evans becomes head of the employment unit.

Fenelon, a founder of the practice, commented: “I am delighted that John is our new managing partner. Over the last 11 years the role has been challenging and satisfying in equal measure, during which time the firm has grown to 40 plus staff. I have every confidence that John will take the firm to the next level and will carry on our firm’s values of bravery, humanity and excellence. I am settling into my new role as Head of Litigation as well as nurturing Leman Consulting, our Legal Tech Consultancy.”

Hogan, who has been with the firm since 2007, said: “We have some very exciting times ahead and have made some great new hires. We have great strength in depth at the firm. Our recent office expansion and renovation has seen us double our footprint to accommodate our growing team.”

Hogan added that Leman is in recruitment mode, with a number of vacancies currently available.
