Campaigns for clients Rabo, Aldi, Three and Choose Radio were big winners on the night in many leading categories at the Shark Awards held in Kinsale at the weekend. Three was the most awarded brand at the event.

The Shark Awards is an independent international creative festival that's been running for over 53 years.

Boys and Girls was also the only Irish agency awarded in the International Radio category for its work on the Choose Radio Campaign and the only Irish agency to win in the Design category, where it collected gold for its branding logo work for Mark Kilkenny Architecture.

"We're delighted to have won more creative awards across more sectors than anyone else in the business," said Patrick Meade (pictured), managing partner, Boys and Girls. He added: "Newly released Irish research (from TAM and IAPI) shows that creatively awarded campaigns are around 10 times more efficient than non-awarded campaigns – in other words, the more creative the more bang for buck.”

Established in 2009 with six staff and one client, the business now employs 38 staff and has a portfolio of blue-chip clients including Three Mobile, Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, Nissan, Topaz, Danone, Dulux, RaboDirect, Digicel, Carrolls and 123.
