Truata Expands Presence In Dublin

Data privacy company Truata has opened new offices in Dublin and is organising  a conference on data protection and analytics next year in association with IDA Ireland. 

The event will take place in Dublin Castle on 20 February 2020, with the central theme being ‘ethical analytics’. It will include panels and lectures from leading industry experts and academics from many sectors, including retail, media, banking, telco, hospitality, automotive, and airlines.

Truata is ramping up recruitment and aims to double its workforce with the addition of new data scientists, data privacy experts, data analysts and software engineers as it opened a new 7,700 sq ft office in Sandyford, Co Dublin.

The company supplies services and solutions around data anonymisation and analytics to help organisations meet the standards of personal data protection set out in the GDPR. Truata provides tools, data insights, algorithms and reports that companies can use in their own products and solutions.

Chief executive Felix Marx said: “We view Ireland as the ethical analytics hub of Europe, making Dublin the perfect location for both the Truata global HQ as well as the location for the conference on data protection and analytics, which we are delighted to host in association with IDA Ireland.
