RSM Ireland has appointed Tim Quigley as corporate finance partner, the accountancy and advisory firm announced this week.
Quigley joins RSM Ireland’s transaction advisory team, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and due diligence.
A graduate of UCD, Quigley is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance and previously held roles with Kish Capital, Merrion Capital and Deloitte.
Quigley said that he was delighted to be joining RSM Ireland. “The firm has been experiencing sustained growth over the last few years and I look forward to working with the team in adding value to existing and future clients,” he commented.
John Glennon, managing and founding partner of RSM Ireland, said that Quigley brings a wealth of experience to the firm.
RSM Ireland is the eighth largest accounting and advisory firm in Ireland. In the last two years, it has reported a 40% increase in fee income (circa €22m in 2018) and a 25% increase in staff, from 147 to 185.
RSM Ireland was named ‘Practice of the Year’ in the 2018 Irish Accountancy Awards. Headquartered in Ranelagh, the firm also has offices in Offaly and Laois. It recently opened another office in Ranelagh to accommodate its fast-growing management consultancy unit.
