Cork-based National Business Machines is to expand its business to embrace all of Munster and South Leinster.

NBM says it will invest €750,000 in infrastructure and new personnel between now and 2020 to enable the expansion, creating five new jobs and bringing expected revenue growth of 40% by the end of next year.

The company, founded in 1985, was one of Xerox’s first European partners, and says the expansion will position it as one of Xerox’s largest Irish channel partners.

Managing director Michael Galvin said: “We have weathered two recessions and, while other business downsized, we made some smart business decisions for NBM and our customers that saw us continue to grow and flourish. I would also like to thank our partners Xerox, who have supported us from day one.”

Xerox managing director Mark McPhillips added: “For more than three decades, National Business Machines has been a trusted partner of Xerox, with a track record of investing in its business to enhance client service. This expansion will further strengthen both Xerox and NBM’s ability to offer a high-touch, locally accessible model to support clients and grow both of our businesses.”
