Topaz filing stations in Dublin have started selling Worldbox boxes, which have capacities ranging from 5 kilos to 20 kilos.
Worldbox.ie is a Dublin-based delivery service that ships to 200 countries worldwide. Founder Bernie Kinsella says the service makes shipping hassle free, fitting around customers' busy lives.
For Topaz customers who purchase their Worldbox in-store (at a cost of €2.50), boxes will be collected at specific times of the day to suit them – whether it’s from their home, workplace or hotel and during daytime, evening or the weekends.
Shipping payment is made online at Worldbox.ie and a tracking number allows the sender to keep tabs on the box’s progress as it travels to its final address.
According to Kinsella, the service is useful for families sending care packages abroad, hotels shipping for their guests and students travelling inbound and outbound.
The Worldbox is made of travel worthy cardboard with distinctive green and white branding. The box has a a checklist that reminds senders to confirm that they have the correct address and customs clearance paperwork (if required).
