Managing partners in leading Accountancy & Business Advisory practices discuss activity, in-demand service lines, and the business outlook
ACTIVITY
ETL Global entered the Irish market in 2023.
We achieved 300% growth in Ireland in 2024 by way of acquisition and strong organic growth.
ETL Ireland is now partnered with Noone Casey, Guardian Management Accountants and Upton Ryan in Dublin and DMB Chartered Accountants in Waterford.
Each firm was chosen for its high-quality service offering delivered in a professional, personalised manner.
We are in discussions with several other firms throughout Ireland to broaden our footprint and expand our service offering.
As we scale the ETL Ireland operation, we are delivering shared services for our partner firms and their clients, including marketing, HR and IT support.
Following discussions with our partners in 2025 we are rolling out digital transformation, fraud recovery and practice management services and supports to our partners.
TECHNOLOGY
At ETL Ireland we are focused on the technological changes that are enhancing profitability and streamlining business processes.
The use of AI and accounting bots to reduce the time spent on repetitive accounting functionality is to be welcomed.
Integrating technology with global resourcing enables our partner firms to avoid the implications of the talent crunch that is currently stifling the profession.
Firms that embrace positive change are seeing improved productivity and a shifting of team resources from compliance to business advisory services.
DEVELOPMENT
As a European-born network with a global reach, ETL Global understands the unique needs of SMEs wherever we operate.
The local service approach ensures one-on-one partnerships with experienced advisors who bring along European values and principles.
The strength of ETL Global is in marrying the success stories throughout our international network with the independent entrepreneurial spirit of our partner firms.
Our partners don’t have to change business names, move premises or adopt centralised IT systems.
Instead, they retain their independence to continue developing their own success story.
OUTLOOK
2025 and 2026 look very positive for ETL Ireland; strong organic growth and increased investment in new partner firms will result in a dynamic entrepreneurial group.
Our partner firms are leaders in their sectors and specialties and will continue to drive forward.
