Aisling Morman appointed General Counsel for Speed Fibre Group

Speed Fibre Group, the home of telecommunication businesses Enet and Magnet+, has appointed Aisling Morman as General Counsel.

Speed Fibre Group is an Irish investment vehicle focused on telecoms infrastructure as well as communications service provision.

With offices in Limerick and Dublin, Speed Fibre Group plays a pivotal role in shaping the connectivity landscape of Ireland.

The business has an annual turnover in excess of €86m, a dedicated team of over 200 professionals, and a customer base exceeding 8,500.

In addition, it boasts over 1 million people benefiting from wholesale networks - including mobile phone users, students, residential broadband users, public sector workers and staff in multinational organisations.

Speed Fibre Group is owned by Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited, an operationally focused specialist digital infrastructure investor.

With over 16 years of experience in the legal and compliance sector, Morman will lead all legal and compliance functions across Speed Fibre Group.

She joins from Winthrop Technologies where she was Head of Legal and Compliance.

Her responsibilities included advising the leadership team and senior management as well as maintaining effective relationships with regulatory bodies and clients.

Previously Morman has held senior legal roles across multiple industries, including telecommunications, technology, and financial services including Head of Procurement, IP & Regulation, Data Protection Officer, and Senior Legal Counsel in TradingHub, as well as Legal Counsel with OVO and corporate Associate with Herbert Smith Freehills.

Morman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Law from University College Dublin and a LLM (Master of Laws) from the University of Edinburgh.
