Bluebird Care has appointed Philomena Donnelly as Head of Marketing for the Republic of Ireland.
The home care provider which has 2,500 employees helps clients to stay safely in their own homes.
Philomena, who is from Dungarvan, has 30 years of marketing expertise with some of Ireland`s leading brands, such as Waterford Crystal, Newbridge Silverware, Tipperary Crystal, The International Rose of Tralee Festival and Kildare Tourism.
Jonathan Gardner, Managing Director of Bluebird Care, said that Ms Donnelly’s extensive marketing experience will support Bluebird Care’s business operators in communicating the exceptional nurse-led consumer care offering while enhancing relations with public health offices.
“Philomena, our new colleague, is vastly experienced in brand and business development, with exceptional vision and an entrepreneurial skillset," he said.
"Her market expertise will support our consumer brand and our collaborative relationships with State and charitable agencies working in quality homecare provision for individuals and families.

The Bluebird Care business has 26 locally owned offices nationwide but is continuing to expand.
Bluebird provides direct care to clients on behalf of the HSE and also serves private clients.
The firm's clients include people of all ages including children and adults with intellectual or physical disabilities and older people living alone or recuperating.
