Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM) has announced the appointment of Deirdre Hayes as Head of Property for the investment manager.
ILIM is Dublin’s largest institutional real estate manager by number of assets with over 120 properties in its extensive portfolio across a number of sectors.
In this new role, Hayes will be responsible for managing and developing the portfolio and lead ILIM’s award winning team of 16 property specialists across multiple funds both in Ireland and in Europe.
Hayes joined ILIM in 2016 and has a wealth of property industry experience spanning the development, management, sale and purchase of high-quality properties.
Her most recent role was as ILIM’s head of Irish commercial property, where she played a critical role in the design and delivery of landmark assets within ILIM’s property portfolio, including the award-winning Cadenza building at Earlsfort Terrace.
She also established ILIM’s market-leading sustainable real estate strategy.
Speaking about her new role, Hayes said: “Property is an important part of a diversified investment portfolio, providing a regular income stream to investors.

“We see opportunities to further enhance and develop our property portfolio, as demand from tenants is strong across all asset-types, particularly those with strong sustainability characteristics.”
Hayes’ appointment will take effect as of 1 June 2025.
