Global law firm DLA Piper has announced six internal promotions to support the continued growth of its business in Ireland.
Oisín Mulvihill and Claire O'Brien have been promoted to legal director while Jo Kane, Rebecca Clabby, Bella Chan and Aoife Cooney have all been promoted to senior associate.
Mulvihill specialises in finance, advising on a range of cross-border and domestic financing matters with a particular focus on securitisation, structured finance and other debt capital market transactions.
O'Brien focuses her practice on technology and strategic sourcing, AI procurement and government and digital services regulation, advising domestic and international clients across sectors.
Among the newly promoted senior associates, Kane advises on EU and Irish competition and regulatory law, and has developed a wide variety of sector experience, including advising on large, complex international deals and mandates.
Clabby is a corporate lawyer with a strong focus on M&A across various sectors including energy, and Chan advises Irish and International corporate and regulated clients on complex contentious matters as well as on risk and crisis management in the context of product liability, health & safety and also in the context of corporate, financial services and insurance disputes, regulatory investigations and Judicial Review.
Cooney has a broad banking and finance practice with significant recent experience of project financing in the renewable energy sector.

These follow the recent promotions of Orla O’Leary and Seán McGrenaghan to the firm's global equity partnership as well as the appointment of Chris Jessup as partner in the firm’s litigation and regulatory practice.
