Emma O'Doherty has been appointed head of client leadership at the newly rebranded WPP Media Ireland.
In her new role, O'Doherty will oversee client delivery across WPP Media Ireland's brands: EssenceMediacom, Mindshare and Wavemaker.
She joins WPP Media, formerly GroupM, from Mindshare Ireland, where she has spent the past 25 years and held several leadership roles.
O'Doherty started with Mindshare in 2000 as business director and spent six years as managing director as well as a short stint as chief planning officer and, most recently, five years as chief client officer.
She was also seconded to MediaCom Ireland for two years to run the Sky Ireland team there.
"I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Client Leadership at WPP Media Ireland," O'Doherty wrote on LinkedIn.
O'Doherty graduated from DCU in Business Studies before starting her career as an account manager with Carlton Screen Advertising. She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Media Studies from TU Dublin.

Advertising group WPP announced today that it is rebranding GroupM as WPP Media. WPP Media manages more than $60bn in annual media investment and works with more than 75% of the world's leading advertisers in over 80 markets.
Mindshare, Wavemaker and EssenceMediacom will continue to operate as brands within WPP Media, which said the companies would leverage "common capabilities, technology and support functions."
