Audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm Forvis Mazars has announced the appointment of Ashish Apte as director of its international tax team, specialising in transfer pricing.
The company expects that Apte's expertise will further strengthen its capabilities in the area, and enhance its strategic offering to meet the evolving needs of its global clients.
Apte has extensive experience in assisting clients with transfer pricing documentation and in providing strategic advice on global transfer pricing matters, including the development of transfer pricing policies, cost allocation strategies, intangibles management, value chain analysis and operating model optimisation.
Apte has also represented clients during audits, Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) processes.

Apte holds an LL.M. degree in Advanced International Taxation from Leiden University in the Netherlands and a Master’s in Taxation from the University of Limerick.
He is also a qualified Indian Chartered Accountant and holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from Pune University, India.
