Browne Jacobson makes Marie-Claire Scullion head of employment for Ireland

Law firm Browne Jacobson has appointed Marie-Claire Scullion as partner and head of employment for Ireland as it continues to expand its Dublin office.

Scullion will oversee the newly established employment law service and brings heavyweight experience from previous firms.

She joins from Eversheds Sutherland, where she advised international and domestic businesses on complex employment matters, including employment disputes, protected disclosures, reorganisations and workplace data protection.

Browne Jacobson's Dublin office opened in 2022.

The Dublin office opened in July 2022, with recent appointments to the office, including Gavin Bluett, who joined the Irish corporate team, which launched in January 2024.

Emma Middleton and Paul Tohill followed as legal directors to establish the firm's real-estate and construction practices in Ireland, respectively.
