William Fry has appointed David O'Shea, Colm Booth and Cian O'Sullivan as partners.
O'Shea has been promoted to partner in the law firm's banking & finance department.
Based in firm's Cork office, O'Shea advises corporate borrowers, sponsors, financial institutions and alternative lenders on a wide range of international and domestic finance transactions.
He has particular expertise in fund finance, acquisition finance, corporate finance and real estate finance (investment and development).
He also advises on sustainable finance and is a key member of the energy, renewables and utilities sectoral group.
Booth has been made a partner in William Fry's project & construction department, reflecting his contributions to the firm's energy, renewables and utilities sectoral group.
He advises the full spectrum of entities in the Irish energy market, including conventional and renewable generators, electricity suppliers, project developers, funders and end users.
He has extensive experience negotiating complex commercial contracts for key clients of the practice, such as EirGrid and Aughinish Alumina, Ireland's largest industrial gas user.
O'Sullivan has over 15 years' experience and joins the firm as a tax partner.
He has a proven track record of providing strategic tax planning and compliance services to a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals.
O'Sullivan is a Chartered Tax Advisor and Chartered Accountant, managing corporate clients across various sectors and providing both domestic and international tax advice.
He has extensive experience in advising clients on corporate acquisitions, reorganisations and tax structuring for inbound and outbound investment, and he has assisted many companies in setting up operations in Ireland and managing their ongoing Irish tax requirements.
