Apple has been ranked as the most valuable brand in the world with an eye watering value of over $500bn.
The research from financial media site TradingPedia, listed the top brands by value in 45 countries.
They estimated the value of each brand, taking into account the expected financial returns over its useful life, discounted for market uncertainty and specific asset risks.
The research underlined the dominance of US brands, with Apple, Microsoft, and Google leading the pack, but also revealed the rise of Asian brands, such as Samsung and TikTok.
Apple Inc. is currently the most valuable brand in the world, with an estimated value of $516.58bn.
Incredibly, this marks a significant increase from last year, when it was valued at $297.51bn, a growth of 73.63%.
Apple surpassed the previous year’s leader, Amazon, which experienced only a 3.22% increase, and now its brand is valued at $308.93bn, ranking 4th globally.
Microsoft and Google take the second and third positions, with brands worth $340.44bn and $333.44bn, respectively.
Closer to home Guinness was listed as the most valuable Irish brand with a value of $2.59bn.

In May of this year global data site Statista also listed Guinness as the most valuable brand with the exact same valuation of $2.59bn followed closely by Ryanair with a brand value of $2.54bn dollars.
Primark / Penney's, owned by Associated British Foods, was in third place with a brand value of $2.09bn.
