Cork busking sensation Allie Sherlock may never have to sing on the streets again as she looks to be coining it in.

A company owned by her father Mark, Woodlands Media Ltd, but of which Allie is a director has over €645,000 in the bank according to their 2022 accounts.

The 19-year-old appeared on Friday's Late Late Show to promote her new single 'How Love Works’ live on the show.

Allie, who learned to play the guitar aged just eight, shot to fame after several videos of her busking went viral sending the number of her online followers into the stratosphere.

The Douglas singer has more than six million YouTube subscribers, over three million Instagram followers and a TikTok community of over 16 million.

She recently told RTÉ: "I wanted to start busking because I saw people in my town doing it and it looked fun, I have always wanted to perform in front of people so that was the best option.

"Busking wasn't cool at the time and a certain family member said I was begging on the street for money lol."

According to her company accounts she is doing just fine with €645,589 cash in the bank.

The most recent accounts filed in 2022 show that year the company made a profit of €539,933.

The company does owe €105,826 to its creditors, much of which is listed as tax.

Despite having plenty of money in the bank the singer has done extraordinarily well from her busking videos.

Last January a two year old clip of her cover of Coldplay’s 'Viva la Vita' garnered 16 million views after it was shared on X by celebrity magician Ben Taylor who goes by the name Magic Mod, Taylor.

His enthusiastic endorsement of the song, which he described as “the best cover I’ve ever seen in my life. Wow, what a voice," sent the clip viral.

But Allie has become well used to being spotted online. She appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018 after one of her busking sessions was noticed by producers of the show.
