Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have announced their engagement after a secret proposal two weeks ago.
The pop icon and the NFL star, both 35, who have been dating for two years, officially revealed went public with their happy news with a romantic engagement photoshoot showing Kelce proposing in a rose garden.
The singer also showed off her gargantuan diamond engagement ring in the post - the stunning band is an Old Mine Brilliant Cut and appears to be from Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry. It is worth an estimated $675,000 to $1m.
Money is not going to be an issue for the couple who were both multi-millionaires many times over before they met.
In fact, according to Forbes, Swift is worth an eye-watering $1.6bn, a fortune greatly enhanced by her Eras Tour, which included three sold-out nights at the Aviva Stadium in June of 2024.
She has a real estate portfolio worth an estimated $120m, including her lavish Rhode Island mansion worth $17m as well as a private jet worth $23m.
And Forbes estimates that her three-time Superbowl-winning fiance is himself worth $70m.
It's worth noting he has a three-year $100m contract he and his brother, Jason, signed with Wondery for their podcast, New Heights.
He also has a burgeoning TV and film career, having recently hosted the Amazon Prime Video show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? and a recent cameo in Adam Sandler’s movie Happy Gilmore.
Kelce also invested in the Alpine Formula One racing team with Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes, with whom he also owns a restaurant in Kansas City.
And he has founded the sportswear brand Tru Kolors and launched a nutritional supplements brand Hilo Gummies in 2018, which was later taken over by a private equity firm.
He has a slew of endorsement deals with big-name brands, including Bud Light, Pfizer, and Nike. He also owns a $6m mansion in Kansas City.
It means the couple's joint worth after tying the knot is likely to be in the region of $1.67bn. Forbes suggests only Jay-Z (estimated net worth $2.6 bn) and Beyoncé ($780 m) are worth more.
