While streaming giants are attracting large audiences all over the country, Irish people still enjoy our homemade TV shows.
Live sports do tend to dominate the larger audiences, but when stripped out we can see that RTE still hosts most of the highest-rated shows.
From the daily staple of RTE News: Six One, to the weekend entertainment of Dancing with the Stars and the Tommy Tiernan Show, the national broadcaster takes nine of the Top Ten slots.
Virgin Media's solo appearance on the list comes from I'm A Celebrity, the reality TV show that returned to Australia after a couple of years of being filmed in Wales during COVID.
Sitting comfortably on top, and beating the Top Ten sports programmes too, is the Late Late Toy Show.
