In Association with

There was a significant drop in the number of individuals unemployed in February 2022 as employment increased due to the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

Estimated unemployment increased in March before a decrease in April and May and then a spike in June.

The June increase may reflect the termination of employment wage subsidies, inflation cost pressures on small business, or both.
