Timetable of events being held in Longford for Local Enterprise Week

Longford businesses have been urged to take part in a series of events being run as part of Local Enterprise Week 2025.

The week will see over 350 events take place across the country that are open to everyone at any stage of business.  

The events designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs will run between March 3rd to 7th.

Starting off the week in Longford is an event celebrating the county's Cosmopolitan Business Community which recognises the many businesspeople from across the globe that have set up in the area.

Guest speaker at the event, which will feature insights and success stories from Irish business, will be ‘That Great Business Show’ host Conall Ó Móráin.

The event is free but needs to be booked through Longford LEO. It takes place in the Longford Arms hotel on Monday, March 3rd from 8.30am-10am.

The week will conclude with the Tri-County Women in Business Event, taking place on Friday, 7
March, ahead of International Women’s Day.

The event will see local businesswoman Niamh Parkes from Heartlands Orchard representing Longford at a panel discussion.

Heartlands Orchard produces preserves, chutneys and sauces from her orchard and gardens in Legan, County Longford.

Organised by Longford, Leitrim, and Westmeath Local Enterprise Offices, the event takes place in Mullingar Park Hotel from 10.30am-2pm but attendees need to book through the Westmeath LEO.

Other events include a One-to-One Accounting and General Business Advice Clinic (Tuesday, 4 March), Export Readiness: Prepare Your Business for Customs (Wednesday 5 March), the County Enterprise Awards 2025 (Thursday, 6 March), and Digital Marketing, Social Media and Brand Health Check Clinic (Friday, 7 March).

Local Enterprise Week is a national initiative with hundreds of events organised by the
countrywide network of 31 Local Enterprise Offices.
