Jen Walsh and David Fogarty have been appointed digital board directors at Starcom, part of ad agency Core, with Dave Thomson becoming head of digital.
Walsh, says Starcom, is a digital thought leader with vast experience, leading teams at another of Core’s segments, Zenith, which delivered “campaigns across the globe for a diverse range of clients”.
She will collaborate with Fogarty, with his almost two decades experience in digital roles. Since 2017, Fogarty presided over initiatives at Core Investment, including first agency to secure IAB Gold Standard Accreditation, and building a team to achieve Google Premier Partner accreditation, said Starcom.
Dave Thomson joined Core in 2014 for several years before seeking new experience and digital and strategic planning skills in Toronto. He returned to Starcom in 2020.

Starcom said expanding its digital leadership with these appointments is coupled with the growth of its “digital and performance team of embedded specialists throughout the year, who have an undivided focus on driving performance”.
The company elaborated that the digital team works alongside Core Performance, Core’s recently launched dedicated practice of search, social and platform specialists.
