Legal business Maples Group has announced a new sponsorship with the Museum of Literature Ireland for 'Shut Your Eyes and See'.
The programme supports teachers with curricular art strands, literacy and the personal and creative development of students.
'Shut Your Eyes and See', launched in 2019, is available to primary school children, and will expand to secondary level with the Maples funding.
The law firm and museum are both located on the same side of St Stephen’s Green in Dublin.
Managing partner Peter Stapleton commented: “As Ireland's largest international law firm and a significant employer of graduates, we recognise the importance of supporting and encouraging innovation amongst students at all levels.
“MoLI's innovative approach to showcasing the best of Irish literary works and its commitment to developing unique learning experiences is to be highly commended."
MoLI celebrates Ireland's literary pedigree and its international influence and has developed learning programmes in collaboration with local DEIS and SEN schools.
Simon O'Connor, director at MoLI, stated: " MoLI is a museum for everyone and, since opening, we have particularly placed young people and access at the heart of our work. With the support and input of our neighbours in the Maples Group we are excited to further expand the ambition, reach and efficacy of the programme."
Teachers can find out more about the programme at moli.ie/learning, and bookings are now open.
