Monterey Insight has ranked Maples and Calder, the Maples Group's law firm, as the leading legal adviser to Irish-serviced funds for the ninth consecutive year.
The ranking follows the firm's recent appointment of Eimear O'Dwyer and Adam Donoghue (pictured) as co-Heads of the Funds & Investment Management Group in Dublin.
Monterey Insight is an independent fund industry research company that provides statistical analysis of service providers for all investment funds serviced in Ireland, the UK, Luxembourg, Jersey and Guernsey.
Eimear O'Dwyer commented: “Retaining our position is a testament to our talented and experienced group of lawyers, and our market-leading clients. With 16 partners and over 50 Irish investment fund specialists in our Dublin, London, Hong Kong and Cayman Islands offices, our practice has a unique global perspective and strength in depth.”
Adam Donoghue added: "While 2021 was a successful year for us across the board, we are particularly proud of the work on innovative deals in key growth areas such as ILP / private markets, sustainable finance, ETFs and digital assets.”
Dublin partners in the Maples Group's funds team also include Caitriona Carty, Stephen Carty, Ian Conlon, Emma Conaty, Ronan Cremin, John Gallagher, Philip Keegan, Aaron Mulcahy, Deirdre McIlvenna, Niamh O'Shea and Lorna Smith.
