Cloud optimisation specialist Tier3Tech plans to add 30 new jobs over the next three to five years following what it described as a period of considerable growth.
The venture, based in Carrowphadeen, Roscommon, is an official Microsoft partner. Established in 2018, Tier3Tech specialises in solutions to help SMEs modernise operations and maximise efficiencies.
The new positions will include support engineers and roles in finance, sales and marketing, and administration. The company also has a Dublin office.
"The announcement of new jobs marks an exciting milestone for Tier3Tech, as we continue to enhance our operations, and expand our footprint across the industry," said managing director David Waldron.
“The hiring of new talent will facilitate us in providing a more compelling service to our wide range of clients, and it will allow us to expand our realm of expertise, to encompass new and emerging technologies."
Tier3Tech offers optimisation strategies to mitigate threats such as business email compromise, social engineering manipulation, invoice re-direction scams, man in the middle attacks and ransomware.
Enterprise minister Leo Varadkar commented: "The pandemic massively accelerated an already growing trend, with countless businesses moving their operations online. Cloud specialists like Tier3Tech have helped to mobilise this change, by making it as seamless as possible for businesses.
"The government wants remote and blended working to remain a big part of life. This news from Tier3Tech demonstrates the demand for talent to provide digital and technology services will continue on into the future."
Accounts for Tier3Tech Support Ltd show the company made a loss of €18,000 last year, its second year of operation.
