Esus E-Learning develops bespoke interactive and engaging e-learning solutions for corporate clients including courses, explainers, animations, videos and games.
It achieves this by taking clients’ existing content, such as a PowerPoint deck or training manual, and re-purposing it for self-paced, online delivery.
The company has recently worked on several Respect, Diversity and Dignity at Work courses, and Health and Safety Induction projects, according to Gary O’Flynn, its managing director.
“By way of example, we developed a course for a global brand where the main objective was to provide over 5,000 employees and contractors with an understanding, awareness, and knowledge of their Dignity and Respect at Work policy,” O’Flynn says.
Esus repurposed and leveraged content from an existing policy document.
“We worked with the HR and legal teams to distil the content into a digestible format.
"Working with the team, we developed an interactive e-learning course that was engaging to complete, transferred knowledge and motivated learners,” O’Flynn says.
In the health and safety arena, one project involved Esus creating an induction animation in English, Chinese, Hindi and Latin American Spanish for use within nine of the client’s global manufacturing plants.
“For a client in the wine and spirit sector, we developed a number of Health & Safety Site Induction training videos,” O’Flynn adds.
“This involved developing storyboards and content from the client’s source material, seven days of filming on site and 15 days of post-production.
“We embedded the footage within an e-learning format and created four separate courses. Using that format ensured that there was a good balance between user interaction and the information being conveyed.”
O’Flynn says Esus ensures a quality e-learning experience because the firm scripts, designs, and develops everything in-house.
“Our ‘why’ has always been to create memorable engaging content that users want to take as opposed to material that they are ‘required’ to take,” he says.

“Thankfully, across all projects, and in particular with the health and safety projects, we received some amazing feedback from our clients.
“This has led to us winning several new health and safety projects and we are currently working on two projects for an industry body and a county council.”
