Chanelle Group is Ireland’s largest indigenous manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals for human and animal health. The company employs over 375 people in Ireland, the UK and Jordan, and recently announced a €70m investment that will double existing manufacturing capacity at its Loughrea headquarters. Employment is expected to grow to over 550 people.
Kelly holds a first class honours degree in accounting and finance, a Master’s in business studies from Dublin City University and a postgraduate diploma in strategy and innovation from the Irish Management Institute. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
RDJ Appointment
Elsewhere, Ronan Daly Jermyn appointed Rory Delahunty as chief information officer — the fourth C-level appointment the firm has made in the past 18 months.
Delahunty was previously global IT project manager for Vedanta Resources plc, a global metals and mining company, where he played a key role in the company’s strategic technology planning process.
According to Richard Martin, managing partner of Ronan Daly Jermyn: “Rory’s knowledge and extensive experience with technology, information, and business processes will be a valuable asset to our team and we are very happy to welcome him to the firm.”
