Health food brand Chopped is opening its first franchised outlet on Dublin’s Grafton Street today, which is one of six planned openings for the first half of 2016.
Chopped’s Grafton Street store will create ten new jobs, while the other five planned stores will all open in the Dublin region. The brand has three existing stores operating in Dublin and the Grafton street business will bring total employment in the firm to over 80.
Speaking at the opening of Chopped Grafton Street, Brian Lee (pictured), co-founder and managing director of Chopped, said: “We’re looking forward to providing everyone from tourists to students with the Chopped experience.
“More people want well-balanced, nutritious meals and we are passionate about providing everyone with the food they want.”
Founded in 2012 by Dublin entrepreneurs Brian Lee and Andy Chen, Chopped specialises in healthy salad bowls, sandwiches and wraps.
