US software firm Equifax is to create over 100 jobs at its new information technology centre in Dublin, in an expansion backed by the IDA.
The company’s new centre is located on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay. Equifax also has operations in Wexford, which opened in 1994 and currently employ around 90 full-time staff.
Equifax develops consumer, commercial and workforce information solutions, including online consumer credit reports.
According to Paul O’Dwyer, who heads up Equifax’s new Dublin centre, the city’s attractions included the technology talent pool available.
Coretha Rushing, chief human resource officer with Equifax, added: “We are an inclusive culture, one that offers work-life balance and embraces the innovative spirit.”
Equifax has a presence in 19 countries on four continents. Its Wexford base houses the firm’s database management, customer and consumer activities in relation to its consumer credit referencing services for UK-based clients.
