ISC Group has officially launched its new chapter in Ireland at an event in Dublin sponsored by EY.
ISC Group equips women with the materials required to accelerate their career progression and proactively supports the retention and development of women working in Ireland’s insurance market.
Offering networking, mentoring, coaching and business insights, ISC Ireland is chaired by Fiona Marry, CEO/CUO at Hamilton Insurance. The founding sponsor is law firm Matheson.
According to Marry: “I have been involved with the ISC Group since 2008, and could not be more delighted to be part of the launch here in Ireland.
“The insurance industry both domestic and International supports the careers of many bright and talented individuals. With the support of groups like the ISC we can work to facilitate equality and opportunity for all.”
ISC Group managing director Lara Pedley (pictured) said launching in Ireland means that more women will be able to benefit from ISC’s global community and network.
“Listening to people and hearing about their experiences within insurance industry is what motivates ISC Group to fight for gender equality and inclusivity, she added.
ISC Group initially started as a business network for senior insurance women in 2008. It now has over 3,000 members in ten cities.
