Law firm Maples has appointed four new partners from internal staff as well as a lateral hire who joins the firm as partner.
Managing partner Nicholas Butcher said: “These partner appointments demonstrate the strong and continuous growth that our legal services team has been experiencing over the past number of years, and will ensure we are well-equipped to meet the ever-changing and complex needs of our international clients.
“The lateral appointment as partner and head of the employment team, Karen Killalea, builds on our employment practice and reflects our strategy of providing comprehensive commercial legal services to meet the needs of our international clients in Ireland."
Killalea is joining from A&L Goodbody.
The four promotions are Lynn Cramer, Philip Keegan, Aaron Mulcahy and Mary O’Neill.
The Maples Group, through its international legal services firms, advises global financial, institutional, business and private clients on the laws of the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Ireland, Jersey and Luxembourg.
