Limerick telco firm Ripplecom is to add 20 staff to its headcount over the next two years, following a €1.2m investment to upgrade its core and backhaul networks.
Hiring has already started for the 20 new positions, which will be for a variety of roles in sales, marketing, customer service and engineering. The new hires will bring Ripplecom’s total workforce to 50 and they will be based at the company’s new, larger head office in Raheen Business Park in Limerick.
The firm said that its expansion programme enables it to offer a broader range of technology solutions to business customers, including broadband, voice, cyber security and customer-specific IT services.
Denis Herlihy, chief technology officer of Ripplecom, said: “This investment underpins Ripplecom’s commitment to provide quality product offerings to the SME marketspace. Our enhanced core and backhaul network enables Ripplecom to connect customers throughout the 26 counties.”
John McDonnell, managing director of Ripplecom, said that his firm is moving into larger offices in Raheen Business Park Limerick in the next few weeks to facilitate increased business activity. “Providing optimal connectivity, telephony, and security solutions to multi-site organisations and standalone operations at an affordable price is key to our success”, he added.
