Sage To Add 300 Jobs In Sandyford

Business software giant Sage is establishing a new centre in Dublin to serve the European market. The new facility will provide digitally-driven sales and support for its global products, with roles in marketing, sales and services.

Sage is building these centres globally as part of its strategy to build deeper, life-long relationships with customers. Currently, Sage has 1.8 million customers across Europe.

Sage has an existing office in Dublin that currently employs 250 members of staff. The new project is being supported by the Irish Taxpayer through IDA Ireland.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny said: “Today’s announcement will reinforce Dublin’s position as one of the leading technology hubs in the world.”

Sage CEO Stephen Kelly commented: ‘Ireland is central to our vision for Sage in Europe and this new centre is a symbol of our commitment to serving and selling to our small and medium business customers in the region. The new centre is focussed entirely on providing a new experience that will propel businesses across Europe to thrive and succeed.”

IDA CEO Martin Shanahan expressed the hope that Sage’s decision to make such a large commitment to Ireland will influence similar companies to do the same.

Sage is a FTSE 100 company with 14,000 employees in 24 countries.
