Virgin Media has appointed Paul Farrell (pictured) as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, with effect from July. Farrell is joining from finance house Davy, where he was Director of Brand and Strategy since March 2014.
Farrell preciously worked with IPG Mediabrands, the Irish Times and O2. In his new role, Farrell will join the Virgin Media Ireland executive board and report directly to CEO Tony Hanway.
According to Hanway: “I am delighted to welcome Paul to this key commercial position at Virgin Media. These are exciting times in Virgin Media and I am confident Paul will add hugely to our creative marketing strengths and make a dynamic contribution to our continued success.”
Farrell commented: “The Virgin brand is still relatively new to Irish customers and it’s a really exciting time to be part of the local team as we focus on delivering innovative and top quality services for our customers.”
