Legal firm William Fry has announced five senior appointments, including two new partners in its litigation & dispute resolution and tax departments and three consultants across its professional development, employment & benefits and real estate departments.
Mary Cooney, who specialises in healthcare law and regulation with particular expertise in the defence of complex clinical negligence cases, the defence of multi-party product liability claims and advising clients on healthcare regulatory compliance, has been appointed as a partner in litigation & dispute resolution.
Anne Tobin, who has over 16 years' experience providing tax advisory services to international financial services companies and who advises on transactions across all financial services sectors including investment management, structured finance, banking and insurance, has been appointed as a partner in William Fry's tax department.
Elsewhere, Sinead Kelly, Ciara McLoughlin, Ruth Sheridan have been appointed as consultants in the professional development, employment & benefits, and real estate departments, respectively.
Kelly has responsibility for the professional development of all William Fry employees, while McLoughlin is experienced in pensions law and advises both employers and trustees on occupational pension schemes, and Sheridan specialises in the acquisition and disposal of commercial property and lease negotiation.
