BnM (Bord Na Mona) has officially opened applications for the Accelerate Green Grow 2026 Programme, Ireland’s flagship accelerator for climate-focused enterprises.
Kicking off in January 2026, the programme offers a unique opportunity for ambitious businesses to scale their sustainability impact while contributing to Ireland’s green economy.
Now entering its fourth year, Accelerate Green has become a key driver in the growth of Ireland’s climate innovation sector.
Since its launch in 2022, the programme has supported over 60 Irish enterprises—helping them expand internationally, attract investment, and create more than 700 new jobs across the country.
Accelerate Green Grow is tailor-made for established SMEs and STEM-led ventures focused on scaling or transitioning into climate-aligned sectors.
These include renewable energy, sustainable software, circular economy, biodiversity, foodtech, cleantech, and low-carbon solutions.
Developed in collaboration with Resolve Partners, the programme offers eight intensive modules combining expert-led strategy workshops, investor-readiness support, and access to policy, enterprise, and innovation networks.
Participating businesses also gain opportunities to pilot solutions within BnM, and present their innovations at a national showcase event attended by over 300 stakeholders.
Participants benefit from mentorship by industry leaders, access to senior decision-makers, and the use of Bord na Móna’s facilities in Boora, Co. Offaly.
The programme is designed to accelerate growth, boost investor engagement, and drive real-world climate impact through collaboration and innovation.
Tom Donnellan, Chief Executive of Bord na Móna, said: “Accelerate Green is a cornerstone of our commitment to Ireland’s climate transition.
“It supports companies that are building the sustainable industries of tomorrow, creating jobs and delivering real environmental value.
“I encourage all climate-focused innovators to apply for this unmissable opportunity.”
Success stories from previous cohorts include Hibra Design’s partnership with BnM’s Land and Habitats team to electrify its tractor fleet and the BETR pilot, as well as Acel Energy’s joint venture with Conneely Builders, which secured a contract to develop a 1.2MW solar farm at Shannon Airport.

Fiona Nulty of Biosense, an Accelerate Green Grow 2025 participant, shared:
“The programme gave us strategic clarity, confidence, and an invaluable peer network. It’s a rare blend of structure, expertise, and real support for climate innovators.”
