Continuous Software has completed the first phase of a €2.5m seed funding round, raising €1m from investors such as Athens-based Performance Technologies.

Dublin-headquartered Continuous Software has developed Aangine, an AI-powered platform that enables organisations to align their teams, budgets, programmes and projects with strategic goals and objectives.

Aangine allows for data-driven decision making, optimises resource allocation and enhances collaboration across work management approaches, including both traditional and agile methodologies.

With the new capital, Continuous Software plans to increase its workforce by 40% next year, and will add technical, support, and sales roles.

More generally, the funding will support EMEA expansion and further product development.

The company will also build upon its existing partnerships with major technology players such as OpenText, Dell, and MongoDB.

Levent Ozalp, founder of Continuous Software, said: "This funding validates our vision and the market demand for solutions that address the challenges of continuous planning and adaption in today's dynamic business landscape.

"Angine empowers organisations to adapt quickly and stay ahead of the competition. This investment will enable us to expand our reach, further develop our AI-powered capabilities, and deliver even greater value to our customers."

Performance Technologies led the investment, in which "a major system integrator" and four Saudi Arabian businessmen also participated.

"Our investment in Continuous Software reflects our strong belief in their innovative approach to strategic planning," said Dimitrios Papantoniou, founder of Performance Technologies.

"Aangine provides significant value to businesses seeking to enhance planning discipline and achieve better business outcomes. We are excited to support Continuous Software's growth trajectory and market expansion."
